Who can join GHA?

Simply put, any business which uses gift and homewares products for commercial purposes can join GHA.  In other words, while the term ‘gift and homewares’ describes the types of products GHA Members represent, it does not necessarily describe the Membership.  So what does that mean?

Suppliers

The wide-ranging nature of what constitutes gift and homewares products allows membership for a correspondingly broad array of wholesale suppliers.  The products these companies supply can range from gourmet food to furniture to fashion accessories to children’s toys.

As Alby Taylor our Chief Executive, likes to say,
“Our target products are found everywhere in the home, from the front gate to the back fence, and for everyone living within that space, from the grandparents to the baby to the family pet.”

Buyers & Retailers

If you purchase gift and homewares products for your business from wholesalers then you are eligible for membership.  Currently our Associate Members encompass a diverse range beyond the traditional gift store, from newsagents and chemists to event planners and owners of B&B’s.

Regardless of business type or product category focus, however, the majority of our Associate Members are small independent operators succeeding in an extremely competitive marketplace.  Becoming a GHA Member provides them all a critical competitive edge – by joining together with thousands of like-minded independent business owners they together can wield considerable leverage in obtaining business service discounts usually reserved for only the largest corporations.
