The Australian Gift & Homewares Association (AGHA) today announced the launch of a new direct to the public event – The Christmas Gift Frenzy.
The AGHA, the member-based not-for-profit peak industry body, runs two of the largest industry-led gift and homewares trade fairs in Australia – the Melbourne Gift Fair and the Gift & Home Expo (including Sydney Gift Fair).
The Christmas Gift Frenzy marks the first time, in over a decade, the public will be able to attend a consumer facing event with access to a wonderful range of gifts and homewares from leading brands as part of a family fun-day-out just in time for Christmas.
Linda Hickey, CEO AGHA, said “We are thrilled to introduce the Gift Frenzy concept as a premium family-fun-day and gift-buying event that showcases the wide range of companies and brands represented and supported by the Association. The AGHA curates a suite of member benefits to assist our Wholesale and Retail Members. With much member consultation, it became very clear that our members had an appetite for a direct-to-public event to assist with building brands, clearing stock and launching new ranges. We are excited to offer this event to our Members.”
Offering free admission, free all-day parking, family entertainment and some of Sydney’s most popular food trucks, the Christmas Gift Frenzy promises a day of fun for all ages.
The AGHA has secured the beautiful White Bay Cruise Terminal, Rozelle, across the Black Friday sales weekend (25 & 26th November) creating a luxurious environment on Sydney Harbour for a fabulous family day out.
