Below you will find the latest resources to support your business during the COVID-19 crisis, as well as information on the grants available for those businesses who were impacted by the recent bushfires.

Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI)

AGHA is a very loyal and active Member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (ACCI) together with state-based business chambers across Australia. ACCI is the collective voice for over 300 industry associations and has direct and powerful links into all levels of Government.

In late March, ACCI distributed a COVID-19 Employer Guide which contains useful and relevant information for your business. You can access this employer guide here. ACCI have since provided an updated JobKeeper Information Guide for Employers in early April, which you can view here.

In addition to this, ACCI have also recently distributed a COVID-19 health measures fact sheet, as at March 27 which you can access here, as well as an economic update regarding a proposed Jobs@Risk scheme.

 

Australian Government: COVID-19

In addition to sharing relevant resources from the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), we will also share resources that businesses may find useful from the Australian Government regarding COVID-19. In order to help support businesses and employees affected by COVID-19, the Australian Federal Government is introducing the JobKeeper Payment subsidy program to assist businesses cover employee’s wages, so that more Australians can retain their jobs. More information on the Federal Government’s subsidy program can be found here. In addition, further information is available on the JobKeeper Payment for Employees and as well as information on the JobKeeper Payment for Employers.

The Victorian State Government has also announced an economic survival package to assist Victorian businesses and workers through the impacts of COVID-19. Read more here.
