Innovative Australian business Cool Clutch has solved a quandary for women seeking to carry chilled wine, medication or makeup without looking like they are, by creating an expansive range of stylish insulated handbags for every occasion.
The award-winning family company will participate as an exhibitor at AGHA Sydney Gift Fair in February 2018, bringing never-before-seen variations.
The range includes the new Cool Laptop Handbag and Cool Travel Handbag, designed for those who like to carry a laptop, notepad and their lunch to work.
Founder Suzanne Carroll told the Australian Gift & Homewares Association (AGHA) that she created the concept after searching for cooler bags that could match an outfit and be used as a fashion statement of its own.
“Cool Clutch is all about style. I don’t like to miss an opportunity to have a glass of wine with my friends and family. There is nothing better than getting together with my girlfriends for a glass of bubbles and a giggle. It’s good for the soul and cheaper than therapy,” Carroll said.
“However there is nothing classy about turning up at a girlfriends house with a bottle of wine in a paper bag! So, I wanted to carry a cooler bag that I liked carrying but no matter how much I googled I could not find anything anywhere in the world I liked.
“I decided that I would design a range of handbags that could also keep my wine cool. Women now have backpacks, clutches and tote designed specifically for them, with style and elegance to carry anything they want and be kept cool.”
Carroll added that AGHA Gift Fairs are a fantastic platform to get her latest ranges and products in front of many retailers within a short space of time.
“As an owner-operated business, the concentrated amount of retailers we get to talk to over the four days is a rare opportunity. Without a large network of retailers, Cool Clutch will be unable to grow and expand internationally,” she said.
“AGHA Sydney Gift Fair is enormous so put on your comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to walk every aisle and past every stand. You never know what is hidden around the next corner. It could be that unique product that you will sell quicker than hot cakes!”
