Exhibitors often offer products at attractive prices with huge discounts to beat their competitors, or offer frieght discounts for orders placed at the Gift Fair. Negotiate with company representatives to discuss your options if you purchase in bulk, sign an on-site contract or pay for the stock all at once. That way, if they want a sale, they have to act now.
Don’t buy in those categories that aren’t contributing enough to your bottom line. Make sure it is a proven best-seller or pass. Stick to purchasing new items only if your current inventory has sold to keep you from overbuying for your store.
