Karenza Hill reveals what’s cooking in the Sweet Themes kitchen ahead of AGHA Sydney Gift Fair.
Creating cupcakes, cookies and cakepops is as easy as pie with over 250 assorted products and tools from Australian wholesaler Sweet Themes.
Returning as an exhibitor to the AGHA Sydney Gift Fair in February, the business will bring every gadget needed to get baking enthusiasts creating their own delicacies.
With a passion for the sweeter things in life, Sweet Themes is a Queensland-based business that both designs and imports a vast selection of stainless steel chocolate moulds, cookie cutters, fondant cutters and decorating products for domestic and commercial bakers.
Many of its products can also be used for craft purposes like candle making and clay craft, and are stocked in a variety of stockists including kitchenware, toy, gift, souvenir and specialty stores.
Speaking to the Australian Gift & Homewares Association, founder Karenza Hill explained the benefits of exhibiting at AGHA Gift Fairs and the latest quality innovations at Sweet Themes.
“Since I have taken over the business two years ago, we have changed our packaging, introduced many new products, revamped the websites and changed our online ordering systems. Our range is custom-made entirely from stainless steel, which makes the items dishwasher friendly and very unique to us.
“We also have a number of specific products that raise money for the RSPCA and the Queensland Cancer Council, so it’s a wonderful way for retailers to help support such important fundraising events.”
There are a number of other exciting products currently under development at Sweet Themes. Selling like hotcakes is the newly launched Commonwealth Games Icing Topper sets and Cookie Cutter Pack, which celebrate the sporting event and can be used as required on doughnuts, fudge and lollipops.
“Our Borobi Cookie Cutter pack comes with Edible Art Paints are colour matched our Commonwealth Games Mascots and come in beautiful vibrant colours. There are no other baking products on the market like this,” Hall added.
“Exhibiting at AGHA Gift Fairs is the perfect place to demonstrate these changes and to find new retail customers.”
Sweet Themes uses Instagram and Facebook as platforms to help raise awareness around the brand, allowing it to showcase the product range and build community interactions.
“By using a combination of social media and attending the AGHA Gift Fairs, it’s a perfect way to expand into different market segments,” she said. “Sweet Themes always has a large stall with hundreds of products on display and it’s a major event for networking. Watch this space, as big things are coming for Sweet Themes.”
The icing on the cake is taking an exhibitor stand with access to thousands of qualified retail buyers in one handy location.
